To apply to ESSEC's Master of Science (MSc) in Hospitality Management programme, you must meet the following eligibility requirements:

  • All documents must be official and in pdf format (except ID photo) . Screenshots will not be accepted.
  • Any falsified or fraudulent document submitted as part of this application will result in immediate disqualification from the admission process and may lead to legal action.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

You are pursuing or you have achieved: 

2-YEAR PROGRAMME: 
3-year Bachelor's degree / Licence (with min. 180 ECTS or equivalent) 
OR
A French BTS (Hôtelier) with at least 1 year of professional experience (internship(s) included)

1-YEAR PROGRAMME: 
Master's degree (with min. 300 ECTS or equivalent)
OR
4-year Bachelor 's degree (with min. 240 ECTS or equivalent)
OR
3-year Bachelor's degree / Licence (with min. 180 ECTS or equivalent achieved)
with at least 3 years of post-graduate professional experience, internships are not included
OR
French BTS Hôtelier with at least 5 years of post-graduate professional experience, internships are not included

If the commission board finds that your background is strong but not complete enough in some required aspects, we may ask you to complete the program in 2 years instead in order to build up your strengths and ensure your success.
Please mind that program transfers (credit transfers) without completing a degree are not possible.






ENGLISH
PROFICIENCY 

Validity : the English tests must not be older than 2 years at the application deadline (application round you choose to apply in)

A minimum level in English is required as follows:

- IELTS Academic ≥ 6.5  (IELTS One Skill Retake is NOT ACCEPTED)

- TOEFL iBT® (Home Edition included) ≥ 95

- Cambridge English, minimum B2 First ≥ 175

- TOEIC Listening & Reading ≥ 850 (TOEIC 4-Skills included)

Tests other than the listed ones and non-valid tests will not be accepted. No exception can be made.Please make sure you have enough time to sign up for a test.
